I just got back from my trip a month ago, and it was the greatest experience of my life. I had the best 10 days I’ve ever had...I've never met so many extraordinary and wonderful people in my life. The trip changed me emotionally and spiritually.

I wanted to thank Bill, Sophia, Ran, and the rest of IsraelExperts for putting together such an amazing trip despite such difficult circumstances. I just wanted to let all of you know how proud and thrilled my wife and I were at the way our sons Birthright trip went. David and Eric truly had a deep as well as special 2 weeks that they will never forget. Despite the difficult situation in the North and Gaza my sons never felt threatened. They never felt insecure. On the contrary...everyone was wonderful. My reasons for wanting them to go to Israel have been fulfilled. As my parents were survivors (they passed away this year), nothing would have made them more proud than to hear their grandsons’ stories of the trip. Marc and his buddies LOVED Israel, the people and the trip. They had a great time and made the connection we had hoped he would make. What that means in the long run, we'll find out at some point in the future, but he made it nevertheless. He was impressed with the organization, how the trip was structured and the people leading it, both the Madrichim and the soldiers that joined them. From our first day, walking through the ruins at Caesarea and seeing the view of the port in Haifa to our visit to the cemetery where the pioneers and poets are buried along the Sea of Galilee, to our Shabbat lunch with host families in the Old City, everywhere we went the people were so welcoming and the experience just continued to be more and more amazing. I had a truly incredible time. I think what stood out most to me was being given the opportunity to interact with the Israeli soldiers as well as other Israeli teenagers we met at the various accommodations. After 10 days in Israel I left with an appreciation for the country and the people who spend a few of their teenage years defending it. IsraelExperts was recommended by a friend who had gone in the winter, who came back absolutely amazed. I wanted to thank the founders of birthright for providing me as well as thousands of other people the opportunity to grow as a person and appreciate life in a different way. This would not be complete without mention of my tour staff. Ron was an amazing leader whose passion for Israel was apparent to all members of Discover Israel Bus 3. He got dressed up as a Roman on Masada to tell the story and made each and every experience positive and significant.
