Jordan Trips – 1, 2 or 3 Days

Please note that the 1 and 2 day tours to Jordan leave from Eilat, the 3-day tour leaves from either Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. We do have a special offer which includes a hotel in Eilat with the 1-day trip to Jordan or you can build your own itinerary by choosing which hotel you'd like, for how many nights and then adding trips to Jordan. We also have hotels available in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem should you need one. 

You can book these options at any time, including once you are in Israel. Please note that for the special offer we have limited availability, so the sooner you book, the better! Petra and Aqaba – 1 day

Drive through the Jordanian desert, enjoy a short city tour of Aqaba and explore the legendary city of Petra, spread over 19 square km.

Tour Details:

• Leave Eilat, Israel in the morning, cross the Arava border and drive to Petra through the scenic Jordanian desert, past the Wadi Rum area, where Lawrence of Arabia once lived and fought with the Bedouin.
• Arrive at Petra.
• Enter the Rose City of Petra through the Siq, a narrow passage through the mountains which has inspired awe for centuries - up to the treasury which suddenly appears at the end of the gorge, its size, color and beauty leaving visitors breathless. Continue into the heart of this ancient city carved into the mountains, passing hundreds of tombs and monuments and a spectacular Amphitheatre which once held 3,000 spectators.
• After our visit to Petra, a stop for a sit-down lunch, followed by a visit to Moses Spring before leaving Wadi Moussa (the new town of Petra).
• Drive on to Aqaba for a short city tour, return to the Arava border and back to Eilat.

The Best of Southern Jordan – 2 days

Petra, Wadi Rum & Aqaba: This tour leaves from Eilat and requires a minimum of 2 participants. 

Day 1
Leave Eilat in the morning, cross the Arava border where your Jordanian guide and security will meet you. Begin the day with a tour of Aqaba, the local market and the flag of the Great Revolution. Free time for lunch.

After lunch, get ready for an amazing 2.5 hour jeep safari in Wadi Rum, one of the most beautiful deserts in the world, where Lawrence of Arabia once lived and fought alongside the Bedouin. Overnight in a 3 star hotel.

Day 2
The following morning, you will travel to the Red Rose city of Petra.

Enter this legendary city through the Siq, a narrow passage through the mountains which has inspired awe for centuries - up to the treasury which suddenly appears at the end of the gorge, its size, color and beauty leaving visitors breathless.

Continue into the heart of this ancient city carved into the mountains, passing hundreds of tombs and monuments and a spectacular Amphitheatre which once held 3,000 spectators. After our visit to Petra, a stop for a sit-down lunch, followed by a visit to Moses Spring before leaving Wadi Moussa (the new town of Petra). Return to the Arava border and back to Eilat.

The Hashemite Kingdom – 3 Days

Amman, Jerash, Petra, Madaba & Mount Nebo. 
This tour leaves from either Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. This tour departs ONLY ON SUNDAYS and requires a minimum of 2 participants.

Day 1
You will be collected from your hotel in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem and driven to the Sheikh Hussein Bridge or Allenby Bridge to cross the border and enter Jordan. Drive on to Jerash - the Decapolis, located about 45 km north of Amman in the fertile heights of Gilead. Visit the Roman city with colonnaded streets, the ancient theater, the baths, the hill top temple, the triumphal arch and more. Then drive on to Amman for city sightseeing and overnight stay.

Day 2
After an early breakfast, you will travel south on the road to Wadi Musa (the new city of Petra), and then ride on horseback into the "Siq" (canyon) and then on foot to Petra. The city is known as the Red Rock City, and was the ancient capital of the Nabateans, reaching its period of glory between 1st century BCE and 2nd century CE. Visit the carved monuments, such as the Great Treasury, El Khazneh, then the field of tombs, obelisks and alter (Al Madhbah), from where you can view the whole of this amazing red sandstone city. Return to the village of Wadi Musa and drive back to Amman for overnight stay.

Day 3
Drive to Madaba to see the ancient mosiac map of the Holy Land and ruins of this historical site. Continue on to Mount Nebo, from where Moses saw the promised land. From this point you can see the Jordan Vally, Jericho, the Dead Sea and Jerusalem. 
Then drive back to the border crossing and cross back into Israel and on to your hotel in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv.
